Release Notes - v0.202.0

Title: Improve ledger compatibility and validation

Date: August 26, 2026

Version: v0.202.0

This release improves ledger compatibility with released Plutigo behavior, enforces transaction validity boundaries, preserves legacy cost model data, and decodes origin block headers correctly.

  • Improved Plutigo compatibility: The ledger now follows the released Plutigo API, and examples and tests use compatible dependency versions for consistent builds and tests.

  • Enforced validity interval upper bounds: Transactions now fail validation when their upper bound is equal to or earlier than the current slot, honoring exclusive upper-bound behavior across supported eras.

  • Preserved legacy cost model maps: Alonzo genesis configurations now retain older parameter order and names, prefer current values when both forms exist, and accept shorter valid definitions.

  • Corrected origin block header decoding: Babbage family origin headers now treat a null previous hash as the zero hash, and the decoder continues to reject malformed non-null hashes.

Compare: v0.201.1…v0.202.0
